| Description | A cheque issued by the Keighley branch of the Craven Bank between 1880 (the formation of the bank as a limited company) and 1906 (when the bank merged with the Bank of Liverpool). The emblem of the bank includes a drawing of the Craven Heifer and also bears the 1d stamp indicating that the cheque was legal even if dated or drawn more than 10 miles from the bank. |
